Highlights from  CBEWeek 2018

Inaugural, Code Black Gala: Recognizing Trailblazers and Nonprofits

The Inaugural Code Black Gala brought together over 600 attendees to celebrate Black excellence, build community, recognize trailblazers, and honor nonprofits who are positively impacting the Black community. BET’s own Jeff Johnson was the Master of Ceremony and assisted with honoring the Inaugural Award Recipients: Morgan DeBaun with the Tech Innovation Award, Monique Woodard with the Impact Investor Award, Build with the Nonprofit of the Year Award, and Fam 1st Family Foundation with the Community Champion Award.

CBEGives Back: Supporting Our Community

CBEWeek is not just about recognizing members of the community and hosting events - it's about giving back. We kicked off the week by bringing together a host of volunteers from companies across the Bay Area. Volunteers served breakfast to more than  600 people at Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco. Check back soon for volunteer events during CBEWeek 2019!
