CBE is excited to partner with UNCF to celebrate 75 years of excellence for UNCF and to honor CBE’s Impact Nonprofits who are dedicated to providing programs to support first generation college students of color.
Join us for fun filled night packed with live music, dancing, great community, and amazing food designed by Chef Chauncy, our winning chef from the Black Food & Wine Experience cook off.
CBE and UNCF will be taking over four floors at the Hyatt Regency Hotel with an expected 1200 participants coming to together to celebrate of Black excellence, salute UNCF for 75 years of unwavering support to students of color and support to our nation’s HBCUs, and to honor CBE’s 2019 class of Impact Nonprofits!
CBE’s primary mission is to engage, unite and celebrate the Black community. We are excited to announce that CBE’s sponsors and donors have made it possible for CBE to lower the gala ticket price to allow for a more inclusive event that is reflective of all members of the Black community. CBE & Chef Mimi partnered to host the Black Food & Wine Experience on the road to CBE Week 2019! Four chefs participated in fierce live cooking competition to determine which chef would design the menu for the CBE & UNCF Gala

Over 600 attendees came together to celebrate black excellence, build community, recognize trailblazers who are positively impacting the black community, and honor nonprofits that are promoting science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and entrepreneurship in communities of color.
